Colours in the Sky by Mojo-Smileyface
Colours in the Sky
I wanted to do a pretty sky scene, might do more as well.

What do you think?
I used a brush for the trees, I can't remember whose it is but the brush set is on here.

Hello everyone!

While painting a few images these past few days, I haven't really been doing my project for my course, where I am supposed to be painting concepts for a personal project.

I'm feeling a huge lack of motivation.

I look at amazing works of other people, but I still can't produce my own work, or feel like I can do well enough for it.
I am really trying to improve, but I feel the quality I want for my course isn't possible considering I have only about a mnth and a half to go. I cannot become skilled in fundamentals then. I can get a little better, but urg.

If you are reading this and have been in a similar situation, what do you do when you lack motivation and inspiration and skill, but you need to get work done quickly?

I have 10 concepts and a month and a bit to do them in.

Does anyone have advice?

Meanwhile I am painting other things to keep my mind flowing, take a look and tell me what you think!

Lara Taking Aim Study 2
Another study from the teaser trailer for Rise of Tomb Raider.

I really liked the bokeh in this part as the shot pulls into focus on her bow as she shoots down some guy, and the random blue lens flare adds a bit of contrast. Took about 2 hours, probably more - with PS Elements

:)

I really liked the new trailer for Rise of Tomb Raider, it was very pretty, so I Painted a few studies from scenes I liked.

This is my first one, took about 2 hours with a Wacom and PS Elements.

Might do a few more of Lara soon :)

Because I haven't done anything magic-y with rune or mages. It was fun creating the rune and a scary type place for her to do her blood magic.

Was supposed to be a speed painting but I got stuck with the pose.
Used tablet and photoshop Elements about 2 hours on and off

:)

How'd I do?
