Hello, everyone!

So I only have like, 1 week or so left at the Polytechnic, and then its OVER.
I've handed in my big concept art project, which I could have done better in, but my time was against me, and it takes time to produce good pieces of readable, clear concept art. But I got far, and I did all I wanted too! :D

So what am I going to do after?
Well, I've applied for jobs and sent away things and such, and I hope to start doing something that will help me artistically. Like, I don't know, working somewhere where I can paint or create things all day, even do graphic design! We will see.
But, also I will use the time I have free to just relax! I am so tired after all this!

But apart from that, I will paint. I need to practice. And so I will, I enjoy it so much, creating characters and landscapes, all I have to do is get used to producing ideas and creating them realistically. Correct lighting, colours, etc., and I try, and I am [slowly] getting better.

I should be posting a couple of landscapes and maybe a character or two soon, I have this fun wee mini project I have created, which is creating human character designs of my 3 cats. You see they are so cute and they have such great personalities to humanize. I cannot wait to get started! Just something cute and fun!

My long term goal is to create a stunning portfolio, I have numerous IP's I can get started on as my 'experience' proof I can work off briefs and follow restrictions, which I can I have been doing that for the past two years of my course, it has all been graphic design briefs and writing down processes and mocking up work, so I have that experience - but I cannot wait to use those IP's as proof I can paint concept art, that I can paint characters and landscapes, weaponry etc.
What fun! :D

Anyway... the end of the year is upon us, so hope you all have a great one!

Till next time!
Jo :)
